PANEL: Maximising values and outcomes from Medicines

This is a non-promotional symposium funded by Bial and developed by the HSJ Medicines Forum in collaboration with Bial. Bial had no input on the choice of speakers. The topics discussed will cover:

• Creating patient pathways involving medicines which ensure a holistic view of patient and population needs
• Finding ways to balance costs, outcome measures and patient experience to ensure the greatest patient benefit is gained each time
• Discussing why and how industry could facilitate better data sharing and evidence bases to inform decision making
• Continuously assessing the impact of formulary changes on prescribing patterns to maximise value
