About Laila Abdullah Khasib Al Hadhrami's project:

Smart City Ambassadors (SCA) was one of these successful initiatives of Smart City Platform in Oman and its goal was to create a smart community of practice by building a community of volunteered and skilled champions who would conduct a series of monthly free lectures and workshops related to the concept of Smart City around Oman.

What make this initiative unique it is supporting the innovation through the virtual Hub and community of the ambassadors where they exchange and discuss innovative ideas in different sectors of the community and the possibilities of implementing these ideas to smart projects or solutions.

This ecosystem can be adopted easily by any organization or city with few human resources and funded by one or more sponsors.
