HDLSOP is derived from an ovary envelope which remains behind after separating out salmon roe. The ovary envelope of 'salmon' which is the most popular fish in Japan has the composition of amino acids very similar to that of placenta derived from animals and the content of essential amino acids in an ovary envelope is generally contained more than that in an animal placenta. The salmon used for HDLSOP is rarely being suffered from fish diseases compared with any animal and cultured fish. < Merits of HDLSOP > * Water-soluble and easy to process: Small average molecular weight: 700 - 800 (oligopeptide) cf.
