Building trusted bridges for critical services in underserved communities – the case of HerVest Nigeria
Information
How can financial service providers create trusted bridges between critical, digitally enabled services and vulnerable, underserved communities? HerVest — one of the only for women, led-by-women agritechs in the region — is tackling this challenge and incorporating principles like trust-led customer engagement, customer-co-created products, transparency, and cluster-based approaches to design digital offerings tailored to women smallholder farmers and entrepreneurs. This session explores HerVest’s customer-centric product design process, and how it builds trust in digital finance, gives voice to, and provides essential financial and digital options to vulnerable communities in hard-to-reach areas.
