Information
This exhibition showcases the impact of the "Emergency Comprehensive WASH Response in Tigray and Afar, Ethiopia" project, funded by the European Union Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid – ECHO. Implemented by Islamic Relief under the OXFAM-led consortium, this project has restored access to clean and safe water, improved sanitation, and promoted hygiene practices in communities affected by the conflict in Northern Ethiopia. Through powerful imagery, the exhibition highlights the transformation brought by climate-smart solar-powered water systems, rehabilitated water points, and improved sanitation facilities. It also captures the resilience and hope of the affected communities, depicting moments of joy, relief, and empowerment. The project has reached 24,143 individuals across Zone 2 (Abala, Berhale, and Megale) and Zone 4 (Ewa, Yallo, and Teru), significantly improving their quality of life.
