Turboden

Turboden, a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries group company, is an Italian firm and a global leader in design, manufacture and maintenance of Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) systems, highly suitable for the distributed generation of Heat & Power using a variety of renewable energy sources (e.g. biomass, geothermal energy, solar energy), or waste heat from industrial processes, waste incinerators, engines or gas turbines.

Today, Turboden also develops turbo expanders for natural gas networks, as well as utility-scale heat pumps to satisfy the growing demand of higher-grade heat starting from lower-temperature renewable or otherwise wasted sources of heat, with the aim to play a greater role in the decarbonisation of industrial processes and the District Energy sector.
