Project Description
Lifezone Metals’ Kabanga Nickel Project in northwest Tanzania is a large, high-grade nickel-sulfide development expected to produce nickel, copper and cobalt. A 2025 feasibility study outlines an 18-year underground mine with 3.4 Mtpa processing capacity, while Lifezone plans to use its Hydromet technology for lower-emission processing. The project is targeting an early 2027 final investment decision.
