Welcome to the Diagnosis and Strengthening of European Business Organisations (EBOs) in Africa.
This initiative, commissioned by the EU-Africa Business Forum (EABF) Facility and the European Business Organisation Worldwide Network (EBOWN), aims to empower EBOs across Africa to become stronger enablers of trade, investment, and private sector growth.
Purpose of the Exercise
- Assess the current capacity and challenges of EBOs.
- Provide actionable recommendations for strengthening their role.
- Align EBO efforts with EU and AU strategic priorities.
- Foster a sustainable, investment-driven EU–Africa partnership.
By reinforcing EBOs, this exercise seeks to create a more coordinated, effective, and business-friendly environment, enabling European companies to thrive while supporting Africa’s long-term development and integration into global value chains.
