(Wiesbaden, 18 August 2020) With a net profit of 6.3 million euros in the first half of 2020, the ABO Wind group exceeded the result of the same period of the previous year (5.5 million euros). ABO Wind also increased its revenues (59.3 million euros compared to 56.6 million euros) and total performance (70.9 million euros compared to 59.3 million euros), which in addition to revenues includes changes in inventories of products and services.

ABO WindABO Wind is a globally successful project developer for renewable energies with around 700 employees. Since 1996, the company has developed and sold wind energy, solar, biogas and battery storage projects with an output of 3,500 megawatts, more than 1,500 of them as turnkey projects.  We are currently working on the development of new projects with a total capacity of twelve gigawatts. These projects are located in 16 countries on four continents and exceed the capacity of four average nuclear power plants. Two thirds of the projects under development are wind projects and one third are solar projects.
