The Wilo Group is a global premium manufacturer of pumps and pump systems for the building services, water management and industrial sectors.

Our innovative smart products move water in an intelligent, efficient and climate-friendly manner. We are also making an important contribution to climate protection with our sustainability strategy. When it comes to climate protection, Wilo pumps and pump systems are synonymous with high efficiency. Worldwide, up to 246 terawatt-hours in electricity for heating, cooling and air conditioning applications alone could be saved if outdated pumps were replaced by the latest generation models – that is equivalent to the capacity of around 80 medium-sized coal-fired power plants!

A key technology behind Wilo’s sustainability commitment is Green Hydrogen and in 2022, Wilo inaugurated our H2POWERPLANT at Wilo Group HQ in Dortmund, Germany. The hydrogen plant generates CO2-neutral hydrogen and stores the green energy as an emergency and back-up power supply for the smart factory which already uses solar power as its main source.

Our commitment to sustainability was recognised when we were awarded the platinum rating by EcoVadis in 2022. This independent rating agency has assessed 90,000 companies – but has awarded the platinum rating to just one percent of them. This progress is the product of a genuine team effort. Around 8,400 Wilo employees work across borders every day to create a more sustainable future. As the Wilo Group, we will also continue in 2023 to pursue the path we have embarked upon – and thus make our contribution to a better world.
