Information

On September 8, Meta launched Muse, a personal AI agent that opens a browser, fills out forms and pays. Within ten days it topped the App Store above ChatGPT. Then Amazon blocked it, and Shopify opened every one of its stores to it on the same day. In this keynote, Kai Thomas Krause, co-founder of ShopAgentic, unpacks what these two weeks mean for merchants: why in-chat checkout stalled while AI-driven discovery exploded, why the bot you are blocking may be your best-converting customer, and why Europe's delay is prep time rather than a reason to relax. You will leave with a concrete Monday-morning list: the decisions and infrastructure moves that determine whether your customer's agent can buy from you, or buys from someone else.
