Digital Accessibility: consultancy and training for the publishing industry

The exceptional increase of use of digital contents caused by COVID-19, especially in the field of educational, and the future implementation of the EU Accessibility Act are two strong reasons for publishers to move towards accessibility. In this situation web sites, videoconferences, ecommerce, e-learning, distance working may become a major element of divide for blind and visual impaired people (VIP): Fondazione LIA can support publishers and other organization willing to embrace accessibility.

The webinar will present the personalized consultancy and training activities offered by LIA and the case study of Società Editrice Il Mulino who launched a new accessible version of its platform, Pandoracampus, for academic students.
