The Kumano region in Japan is well-known for consistent perfection in brush making. Each authentic Sumi-e brush in this selection bears the highly esteemed Kumanofude lable and an individual serial number that ensures quality. For ink painting, calligraphy and watercolor. Handle is made of long lasting, non-cracking synthetic bamboo. All brushes come with a loop for hanging. Because these are handmade, brush sizes may vary slightly. Full length with handle measures 8 1/8" to 10" depending on brush size.
