This project and project team have exemplified outstanding community engagement during the delivery of this project. They have been dedicated and enthusiastic throughout, with a genuine appetite to keep social responsibility and sustainability at the core of the project values and create real betterment in the local area. In the delivery of Milton Keynes’s first fossil fuel free school, the team have created a sustainable legacy through its community engagement programme which has translated the fossil fuel free design and sustainable set up into local carbon literacy and provided tangible employment opportunities which have been retained in the local area.
