The Joint Research Centre (JRC) provides independent, evidence-based knowledge and science, supporting EU policies to positively impact society.
Since 2008, JRC has been supporting urban climate action through the Covenant of Mayors Europe and, recently, through the 100 Climate-neutral and Smart Cities Mission.
To further support cities develop, implement and monitor climate action plans under the Covenant of Mayors, JRC is releasing an updated guidebook, addressing emissions reduction, climate adaptation and energy poverty.
