Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR)

The Council of European Municipalities and Regions brings together more than 110,000 local and regional governments through 60 national associations across 41 countries. We work to empower communities of all sizes, from major cities to rural villages, by supporting local leaders to shape fair, inclusive, and sustainable territories. As the European section of United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG), CEMR also gives a strong voice to Europe's local and regional governments on the global stage.
