ALPINE G241-S™ starter brings you the advantage or the newest advancement in plant available potash. ALPINE G241-S™ contains K-Tech®, a unique natural plant metabolite that enables plants to uptake and make more efficient use of potash. You can expect quicker germination, enhanced root development and an elevated abiotic stress tolerance. All this plus still maintain the low salt, high purity, high orthophosphate content, and of course seed safe features that you have relied and expected from the trusted ALPINE® line of starter fertilizers. The product also incorporates a source of sulphur to balance out the starter package of macronutrients. With the reduction of sulphur emissions in the atmosphere over the last decade many crops are showing a need for additional sulphur. Availability to sulphur is often lacking in the early growth stages and cold soils due to limited activity of soil microbes to mineralize soil sources. Having an additional supply available to the plant with the ALPINE G241-S™helps bridge the requirement until the soil warms up. Eighty percent of the phosphate is present in the orthophosphate form that is immediately available for plant absorption and metabolism. During times of limited phosphate and potassium availability (eg: cold and wet spring soil conditions present at planting), ALPINE G241-S™ liquid fertilizer provides a phosphate and potassium source that is positionally and nutritionally available.
