Established in 2018 under the Government of Canada’s Supercluster Initiative, DIGITAL brings together industry leaders, SMEs, and post-secondary institutions to collaborate on large-scale technology projects that drive innovation and the development of technology solutions addressing critical sectors such as mining and energy, housing, workforce development, and health.
Our collaborative innovation model connects technology builders and buyers to accelerate the adoption and commercialization of technology solutions that address everyday challenges for Canadians, and the world.
Since its inception, DIGITAL has catalyzed over $896M resulting in 200+ commercial products launched globally, nearly 200 projects with over 1,000 distinct partners, 770+ IP assets built, and 27,000+ Canadian learners gaining the skills needed for the digital economy.
