Industrial facilities around the world face mounting pressure to reduce emissions while contending with aging infrastructure and analog engineering workflows. Most lack digital models, relying instead on decades-old paper diagrams that hinder operational efficiency, increase downtime, and slow modernization. This session explores how AI-powered digital twins and contextual graphs can accelerate the digital transformation of brownfield plants—enabling data-centric engineering, better decision-making, and sustainable operations. By automating data extraction, creating 3D models, and embedding intelligence into assets, we reveal how legacy systems can evolve into smart, adaptive “facilities of the future” that align with Net-Zero and Industry 4.0 goals.
