Sugar House Island

Sugar House Island, is a 26 acre development close to the 2012 Olympic site in Stratford, with over 1000 years of industrial history on an area bounded by the River Lea and the Three Mills Wall River. The Developer, Vastint, and the Manser Practice were looking for sustainable manufacturers to help them create the unique look and feel they required. Royal Mosa with their Cradle to Cradle Certified® Silver tile collections as well as the factory being only 300 miles from site and therefore minimal carbon footprint was the obvious choice. Mosa commenced working on the specification with both companies as far back as 2016 starting with the bathroom areas, closely followed by kitchens, communal areas and walkways. Learn more about this project directly from Rob Ovens, Head Interiors from the Manser Practice on 27th May at 10:30am BST in Conversations with Mosa.
