Secto DesignSecto Design is a Finnish company specialized in design lights hand- crafted of top-quality local PEFC certified birch wood. The demanding manufacturing is carried out by highly talented local craftsmen at the Sectomo factory located in Heinola, Central Finland. The very first Secto Design lamp, Secto 4200, came out in 1999. The collection has grown over the years and today it comprises 26 different models which together form the distinctive appearance of the brand. The entire lighting collection is designed by the award-winning Finnish Architect Mr. Seppo Koho. Secto Design is a family-run business, owned by the founder Tuula Jusélius and her son Joakim Jusélius. Finnish quality and sustainability are among the key values of Secto Design. The birch comes from PEFC certified forests and is onlytransported short distances. The light source in the lamps is LED thatguarantees a lower energy consumption without compromising on the luminosity. Secto Design is committed to continuous development in high quality of design and production. The wooden warmth of the Secto lights suits a variety of different styles. The clear but interesting architectonic forms of the lamps are internationally praised by both the customers and by judges of prestige design competitions. Secto Design exports over 90% of the production to over 70 different countries and is represented across the world through its comprehensive representative and retailer network.
