Maternal Newborn Health Innovations

The OdonAssist™ inflatable device for assisted vaginal birth is the first entirely new way in more than a century to assist the birth of newborns in circumstances of prolonged, difficult second stage labour. It is designed to be safe and gentle for both mothers and newborns, and is currently in use at NHS hospitals in the UK as well as in hospitals in France and Italy. This new innovation was developed by Maternal Newborn Health Innovations (MNHI), a Public Benefit Corporation helping caregivers throughout the world reduce avoidable pain, harm and mortality to mothers and newborns during childbirth.
