Workforce 1 - Maximising the Workforce Potential

Session Aims:

This session will provide an overview of Health Education England plans for Dental Education Reform and how this will shape and impact future dental workforce training. The session will also provide an opportunity for dental care professionals to discuss career progression and career opportunities for members of the wider oral health clinical team.

Learning Content:

The session will cover key points from the ADC review and the impact this will have on education and training as well as workforce review. It will provide an overview of the reforms planned for dental education and training, which aim to produce a skilled multi-professional oral healthcare workforce. The session will provide hot tips from a current group of dental care professionals on career progression within the wider context of wider oral health care.
