This session will  provide an overview of UK legislation and guidance for the management of dental practice pressure vessels with hints and tips on how to reduce costs.

Learning objectives:  

  1. Be familiar with the requirements of UK legislation and guidance in relation to managing dental practice pressure vessels   
  2. Define pressure vessel requirements such as Pressure Vessel Inspections, Written Scheme of Examinations, Servicing and Maintenance and Validation   
  3. Identify ways to reduce practice downtime and save money  

This lecture meets the criteria for category A, B & C of the GDC's development outcomes for enhanced CPD (maintenance and development of knowledge and skill within your field of practice)
