Suniye Support School for Hearing Impaired Children

Established in 1995, Suniye Support School for Hearing Impaired Children is a nonprofit nursery which works among hearing impaired children in the age group 0-6 years, many of them from low-income groups like sweepers, carpenters, house-maids, drivers etc. Our school is unique since we teach only spoken language to our hearing impaired students for their better inclusion in society. Our effort is to put the children in mainstream schools and progress. Among our recent achievers are a girl joining the University of Texas for her computer engineering graduation program, a boy joining B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) in New Delhi and another completing his post graduation in Graphic Designing.
