With over 60% of the world’s youth residing in Asia, young people are seeking opportunities for growth and livelihoods that are increasingly left unmet. While funders and resource providers are ready to support young people, there is a consensus that youth priorities across markets and demographics are multi-faceted. It begets the questions amongst capital providers - Where are the region’s youth priorities and funding opportunities? Who are the complementing practitioners whom we can reach out to?

To effectively empower young people and meet their needs at scale, we need to hear from under-represented youth voices by putting them at the centre of decision making. 10 young impact leaders across 10 Asian markets will surface youth priorities that illustrate the status quo and impact potential of their solutions through 4 lenses - youth employment, diversity and inclusion, sustainable planet, and digital transformation.

Key Takeaways:

  • Identify priority needs and interests that young people across 10 Asian markets are struggling with or are passionate about
  • Determine where the social investment gaps are in supporting these youth priorities, and recommend approaches to overcome barriers to scale solutions
  • Identify opportunities for cross-sector collaborations and be part of the movement to empower young people in Asia
