BOLSTER & LEE If John Cleese and Lucille Ball ran away with the circus, Bolster & Lee would be waiting under the big top. Clint Bolster (High Tea with BOOFF, Slava’s Snowshow) and Annie Lee (The Kransky Sisters) first met at Woodford Folk Festival in 2004, where Clint performed as a clown in Annie’s Freak Street. Since then, they have created a wonderfully strange collection of clowns, siblings, male duos and mother-and-son characters. Together, they bring warmth, precision and a glorious sense of the ridiculous to every performance. Their characters are lovable, relatable and just a little unsettling—leaving audiences laughing, curious and wondering what on earth might happen next.
