The company is aggressively working in India from more than two decades as Mainetti India was established in 1998. Its Chennai factory is a benchmark in sustainability wherein reduction of auxiliary power consumption effectively transforms to 0.009 kWh of energy consumption per hanger produced – a significant drop from 0.02 kWh which was the previous benchmark. The company has achieved a closed-loop water system, with zero discharge of water, and also attained the level of zero landfilled plant.
Even globally, the processes used by the company in the recycling activity ensures that all of the waste streams are managed in the most environmentally responsible manner and that none of the waste material generated goes to landfill.
