Information

Living with a urinary diversion presents practical and emotional challenges that extend well beyond surgery. Our charity supports the work of stoma care professionals to ensure patients and their families have ongoing, accessible support from diagnosis through long-term adjustment. We provide reliable information and peer-led support through our helpline, publications, one-to-one buddy scheme, support groups, digital resources and online community.

Our volunteers live with a urinary diversion themselves, offering insight grounded in lived experience. In addition, we are committed to raising awareness and improving understanding of urinary diversions across healthcare and the wider public, complementing the vital clinical care stoma care professional provide.
