Chameleon Buddies is a small grassroots charity based in the UK but working predominantly in Kenya. The charity empowers women to adapt to changes in their lives following stoma surgery or childbirth injury, through peer support, educational training and advocacy. Essential ostomy and continence medical supplies are sent to patients in need in Kenya to ensure women are able to live with dignity, and to help combat social isolation. With a focus on sustainable, meaningful and locally led solutions, Chameleon Buddies provides practical help in addition to emotional support for those struggling in the aftermath of stoma surgery.
