Pick and Place

Tessella Automation products engineers a "quick" pick and place solution using its standard 600 mm squared platform and standard modules. A UR3e Cobot mounted on its own "locating" plate stradles the modular three dimension surface and is ready to pick the parts, to dimension the parts and to place the parts in the fixtures. The modular plates that make up the tessellated surface are geometrically identical, precise and repeatable. This approach minimizes calibration time, creates a surface that is both easy to reformat and easy to reconfigured for re-use in new programs. The result is less engineering time, less components, and less start up time and greater profitablility.
