ColdVoice

Playable Streets (PS) is a participatory arts company creating invitations to play and collaborate in public places. We are a collective of theatre makers, composers, engineers, visual artists and interaction designers at the forefront of contemporary arts practice. We utilise technology, design, dramaturgy and sound to build environments that encourage norm~bending connections. PS is driven to investigate ways of building connection, bridging social gaps and confronting perceived differences through experiments in performance and installation. PS works have toured nationally and internationally, engaging participants of all ages and abilities.

ColdVoice premiered at Monash Performing Arts Centre (MPAC) in the David Li Sound Gallery in July 2025.

Playable Streets is producing Endling by Barking Spider Creative. ColdVoice can be presented as a double bill with Endling. https://www.playablestreets.com/endling ColdVoice and Endling are an environmental performance primer pack that invites family-audiences to step into and experience playful, important works focused on ecological regeneration. Produced by Playable Streets, these beautiful works are thematically complementary but offer distinct presenting opportunities, as each work can be presented as a stand-alone. They delight diverse family audiences. ColdVoice and Endling are the cornerstone of our long-term creative sustainability strategy. Together, the works tour with a minimum crew of performers/ producers and engage local artists, reducing our environmental footprint as we delight audiences near and far.
