Every hall has a story to tell, and Damian Callinan is the wall that talks. Using his skills as a comedian, storyteller & character actor, he'll pull back the curtain on his own tour stories & examine the quirks, traditions & characters of rural Australian halls.
Hall Stories is an interactive 3 day project that sees Damian immerse himself in the community, in order to tailor the show. As well as creating a hilarious, heart warming & interactive show, he'll host a town meeting, conduct interviews & research the history of your hall to lay the foundation for a dedicated podcast episode, capturing the hall's story for posterity.
Hall Stories is Callinan doing what he does best, where he does it best. He knows how to talk over a bubbling urn & wind up when the CWA scones come out of the oven.

Damian Callinan is an acclaimed comedian, actor & writer. A three-time nominee for Most Outstanding Show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, he is best known for his roles in Skithouse, Backyard Ashes & The Merger, the film adaption of his award-winning solo show of the same name (streaming on Amazon) Callinan is renowned for his prolific output of live shows including Double Feature, Swing Man, The Wine Bluffs, The Lost WW1 Diary, Mayor for a Day, & Unlikely Friends (live show & podcast).
He can currently be seen on screen in The Newsreader & White Fever (ABCTV) & as the lead in the cult film, The Emu War. Recent gongs include the Russell Prize Humour Writing Shortlist for Weird School (Penguin Random) & Australian Podcast Awards Silver for the Bodgy Creek Community Podcast.
