Lucas Proudfoot is one of Australia's most dynamic children's entertainers - just ask any of the hundreds of thousands of children around the country who have danced, sung, jumped and giggled along at one of his live shows.
A proud First Nations man and dad, Lucas is passionate about sharing stories through his music, books, live performances and TV appearances.
A former professional surfer and rock musician, Lucas performs original compositions using his guitar, didgeridoo and stomp box as part of his live touring show, delivering an energetic contemporary Indigenous Australian music and storytelling experience. Lucas is also an accomplished author of children's books and is regularly invited to perform and speak at cultural and literary festivals around Australia.
Lucas is honoured to be an ambassador for the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation (ALNF) and is on a mission to inspire, entertain and educate as many children across the nation as possible.
In 2021, Lucas was thrilled to be invited as a special guest on Australia's favourite children's program, Play School (ABC TV), where he performed four original songs as part of the program's 'Music in Me' series.
