Information

Jessie Lloyd's Sing on Country is a live musical experience that celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander songs, stories, and connection to Country. This engaging show takes audiences on a journey across the continent through music that honours language, culture, and Indigenous knowledge systems. Featuring songs from Jessie's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Songbook, the show includes singalongs, dancing, storytelling, and reflections that are both educational and heartfelt. Jessie's warm and inviting style encourages participation, making the show accessible to audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Each song highlights a unique aspect of First Nations culture-from Acknowledgement of Country to the meanings behind place names, the colours of the flags, and traditional Torres Strait songs. Through music, Jessie offers a culturally safe space for learning, connection, and respect. Whether performed in schools, festivals, or community gatherings, Sing on Country creates an atmosphere where everyone is invited to listen, learn, and sing together. It's more than a concert-it's a musical workshop, a cultural conversation, and a celebration of culture.
