Echo Mapping is a thrilling, joyful sound/movement duet by longtime collaborators, electronic musician/composer Jack Prest & street dancer/choreographer Azzam Mohamed.
Echo Mapping is about knowing when to listen, when to respond; when to lead, when to follow; when to claim space, when to yield it; and most importantly, when to share it.
Jack's live score moves from transcendent textures to thundering beats to ethereal trumpet, while Azzam performs both voice & body: from commanding stillness to fluid yet intense choreography, singing Sudanese melodies recorded, looped & manipulated by Jack.
You're up close to the action, in the round, every tiny moment magnified, and immersed in the visceral sonic atmosphere they create, in an exhilarating, transformative shared experience.

Intimate Spectacle (EP Harley Stumm) supports some very cool artists to make/tour distinctive contemporary theatre, dance, music & live art. Its prolific output since 2012 includes 28 new works & >130 seasons with major presenters, >40 regional venues & a dozen countries overseas.
We've led in making new experiences accessible to regional audiences, including engagement touring & touring to unconventional spaces. Major PA-funded tours include: re:group's Coil (2023), POV & AUTO-TUNE (TBC 2026), post's Oedipus Schmoedipus, Nick Power's Between Tiny Cities, Branch Nebula's Snake Sessions.
Exquisite performer Azzam and powerhouse composer Jack have collaborated for 6 years;this is the third of their 4 works together, the latest being Katma, the hit of Sydney Festival '25, touring in '26.
