3 is a meditation on time: a monochromatic aesthetic driven by the impact of the minutiae of physical and emotional change.
The work is an Austral/Asian collaboration, exploring the beauty and interplay between the live and virtual body. The project takes place between Canberra and Penang and follows a Creative Australia International Engagement funded exchange with Maitree and their unique skills specialising in XR experiences and movement.

Liz Lea is an award winning internationally recognised dance artist, choreographer and producer based in Australia. Over three decades she has toured her work internationally and been commissioned in India, UK, Europe, Australia, South Africa, Singapore, USA and Kuwait. She directs the BOLD and DANscienCE Festivals and The Stellar Company, a non-for-profit arts organisation and the Chamaeleon Collective, Canberra’s first inclusive dance company. Liz offers Audio Description services, regularly collaborating Sydney Dance Company. She toured her one woman show RED internationally over 5 years and premieres her new one woman show Diamond in 2026 along with 3 in partnership with ASEAN partners.
