Step into the rich sonic world of Glow Lounge, an intimate dance space for families with babies under 12 months.
With mellow lighting, subdued colours, and chilled rhythms, this gentle, immersive experience encourages families to ebb and flow together, finding their shared rhythm through movement and gesture.
Guided by the lush sounds of Zindzi Okenyo’s voice, with elemental beats by Zoë Barry - each family will create their own unique dance experience - with their youngest family member at the very centre.
Glow Lounge is flexible in layout: an immersive installation made up of complementary elements which can be tailored to various sized venues and locations.
Intentionally intimate, it is designed so that family units can tune into each other, whlile engaging in a collective experience.
At its largest, it can facilitate up to 20 people (4-5 family groups) every 25 minutes.

Threshold is committed to creating theatrical experiences that provide space for deeper connection, physical closeness and to help people to find the poetic or the playful in life. Co-founders Tahli Corin and Sarah Lockwood collaborate with artists across
disciplines to create work that is sometimes analogue, sometimes
digital and always relational.
Threshold's work for families includes 'Mountain Goat Mountain', 'Feather Quest' (both available in English and Mandarin) and 'The Flying Canoe: a Kiribati adventure'. The installation performance 'Rain: for babies and their carers' has toured for 12 years including to Hong Kong, Macao and Lincoln Center, NYC and is set for a US tour in 2026.
