Project Pitch
Lavra do Professor is a digital crowdfunding platform that enables Angolan citizens to invest directly in agricultural production and receive returns in physical products (beans, maize) at market price, with a 75% gain cap. The platform operates a unique product-based return model: investors' capital is converted into kilograms of produce at investment time. Partner farmers commit to producing 110% of the corresponding quantity — 100% returns to investors, 10% is platform revenue. Our structural differentiator is the Agricultural Hedge Mechanism: the founders own a legally registered 180-hectare farm in Uíge province. 120 hectares are cultivated with maize and beans, generating €160,000/year in direct revenue. This production serves as physical insurance, guaranteeing minimum 40% capital coverage against drought, pests, or farmer default. The remaining 60 hectares serve as expansion reserve and additional collateral. The platform is 85% complete (180+ data models, 83 controllers, 1,059+ API endpoints, integrated payments: Multicaixa, Unitel Money, M-Pesa). The project is profitable from Year 1 (€16K net income). Key indicators: NPV €400K, IRR 58%, Payback 18-22 months. Even if the platform attracts zero users, the farm alone recovers investment in 48 months.
