Project Pitch

Sementes is a digital agricultural crowdfunding platform addressing a structural gap in Angola: millions of smallholder farmers with land and expertise lack access to capital, while urban investors have limited opportunities to invest with real impact.

Farmers submit projects to the platform, where an agronomic team validates and supervises each project from planting to harvest. Investors select projects, define their investment amount, and monitor progress in real time. At the end of the cycle, returns are shared.

The business model is based on a 5% commission on each investment and a 10–20% fee on harvest results depending on the level of supervision. These dual revenue streams scale with platform activity.

Operationally, Sementes differentiates itself through integration with Multicaixa Express, a real-time ROI investment simulator, and on-the-ground agronomic supervision—creating a strong competitive advantage over both traditional banks and external platforms.
