Project Pitch
Foodcare is developing a vertically integrated agribusiness project in Angola centered on the cultivation of 2,000 hectares of cassava and its transformation into high-value food and industrial products. By combining large-scale primary production with modern processing facilities, the project will produce cassava flour, starch, and other derivatives for domestic consumption as well as regional and international markets.
Cassava is one of Africa’s most resilient and strategic crops, with strong and growing demand across food, bakery, and industrial sectors. Angola still relies heavily on imports of flour and starch-based products, creating a significant market opportunity for competitive local production.
Foodcare’s model is designed to capture value across the entire value chain — from farming to processing and distribution — ensuring supply stability, cost efficiency, and scalable growth. The project will contribute to import substitution, rural job creation, and agro-industrial development while delivering attractive returns to investors in a high-demand, under-supplied market.
