The Kitsap Economic Development Alliance (KEDA) is a 39 year-old public/private nonprofit 501 (c) (6) corporation founded in June, 1983. Our goal is to to promote a strong economy with business, job and talent expansion across all of Kitsap County while ensuring healthy growth and a desirable quality of life. How? Statistical Data – KEDA provides key market research & analysis for your business, including demographics, labor availability, wages, taxes, housing costs and more. Site Location – KEDA maintains information regarding building, land and build-to-suit facility availability. Permitting – KEDA can provide introductions and/or follow up for new and expanded facility needs. Workforce Recruitment and Training – KEDA can assist with finding and training employees by coordinating involvement with appropriate educational institutions and government entities. Referral Network – KEDA is part of a local and state network of business assistance agencies and can provide referrals and introductions to partners with expertise in funding, exporting, business plan analysis and more. Washington PTACA Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) advises businesses on how to win government contracts and subcontracts. The one-on-one technical assistance includes bid reviews, marketing assistance, contract performance, small business certifications, and more. PTAC also hosts procurement training classes and seminars, and helps businesses register with the correct databases in order to compete for government contracts. The Washington State PTAC assists businesses through the government-contracting marketplace. Washington PTAC’s mission is to increase the number of government contracts awarded to Washington firms so that those firms can grow. We provide no-cost, confidential, one-on-one technical assistance in all aspects of selling to federal, state, and local governments. With the help of PTAC, Washington State companies are awarded $300 million in government contracts each year. When you become a client of Washington PTAC you gain access to experienced counselors who can help you navigate the maze of government contracting.
