Thurston Investment Network (ThINK) is a group of local investors interested in investing in WA businesses with high growth potential. Businesses pitch to the investment network. CB&I in partnership with the South Puget Sound Community College offers small business microloans for business owners who have participated in a CB&I training program or are South Puget Sound Community College students or alumni. Microloans range from $3,000-$25,000 and have a 6% interest rate. CB&I Consulting provides consulting that is designed to connect business owners directly with subject matter experts to fill skills gaps in both technical and strategic implementation of business services and systems. The Washington Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) provides no-cost business advising and a myriad of educational resources to companies of all stages; from start-up to growth to succession. The CB&I ScaleUp Program has two components: the Training Series geared toward organizations that want to tune-up their business, build their marketing, and attain financial mastery, and ScaleUp Mastermind geared toward ScaleUp training alums that have business for more than one year and are working to improve operations. The Washington Center for Women in Business (WCWB) offers a variety of services to women entrepreneurs, individuals interested in starting a business, and organizations in business that are interested in growing their business.
