Information

Learn more about this project funded by Prompt: https://promptinnov.com/projets-finances/ulaval-x-ova-x-mnbaq/ In this project, OVA and the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec (MNBAQ) are collaborating with Université Laval to leverage technologies based on artificial intelligence, computer vision, virtual reality, museology, and cognitive psychology to develop a tool capable of recommending to curators a set of artworks that evoke the desired emotion and allow them to visualize various exhibition scenarios in a virtual reality environment. At the end of the project, the research team plans to deliver an AI-based system capable of accepting the curator's needs and criteria for selecting works, recommending works that meet those needs and criteria, and allowing the curator to visualize various scenarios in order to evaluate their relevance. The total value of the project is $422,633, with Prompt contributing $192,544.
