An important pillar of OECD work supporting trustworthy and human-centric AI is the OECD.AI Policy Observatory, launched in early 2020 to build on the momentum of the OECD AI Principles. OECD.AI combines resources from across the OECD, its partners and stakeholder groups to facilitate dialogue while providing multidisciplinary, evidence-based policy analysis in the areas where AI has the most impact. This allows countries and stakeholders to compare policy responses, learn from each other’s experiences, monitor collective progress and develop good practices on AI. Another pillar is the OECD Parliamentary Group on AI, a legislative network with a truly global nature. It offers a unique space for parliamentarians to discuss the policy challenges of AI: identifying and prioritising areas for international legislative co-operation and contributing to mainstreaming AI in parliaments.
