May 8, 2026UCLA Nimoy TheaterJoin the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television with UCLA's Center for the Art of Performance and DataX for a dialogue with artists and technologists about opportunities and challenges at the intersection of the live arts with contemporary AI, kicked off by a conversation with Grammy Award-winning  musician, tech founder & philanthropist, will.i.am, Founder & CEO, FYI.AI. We will host speakers from the cutting-edge of AI + Live Arts, including Kate Elswit (Royal Central School of Speech and Drama), Raza Ahmad (Niantic), Edgar Miramontes (CAP), Kate Ladenheim (UCLA), Michael Rau (Stanford), and a live demonstration of Being: The Digital Griot by artist Rashaad Newsome.
