Co-op AgroCo-op Agro - Virtual BoothCo-op is part of the fabric of Western Canada serving local communities for generations. We've always partnered with Western Canadian businesses, constantly evolving to help farmers, ranchers and food manufactures respond to every challenge and opportunity. Throughout it all, one thing has remained constant: we're a different kind of business. We're different because we are truly local. Each co-operative association is locally owned and governed by its members, and anyone can become a member. Profits remain in the community to be reinvested and returned to members. Federated Co-operatives Limited(FCL) and more than 170 independent local co-operatives work together as part of the Co-operatives Retailing System(CRS). The CRS helps grow, fuel, equip, feed and build individuals and communities from Vancouver Island to northwestern Ontario and into the Arctic. We're unique in that no other business in Western Canada has the same mutually beneficial relationship with producers. Co-op not only serves and supplies producers with products and services, but also directly and indirectly purchases their products, largely for the greater consumer market. We're unique in our ability to directly connect farm to table as our members and customers increasingly want to know where their food comes from. To support farming operations, Co-op Agro Centres are dedicated to innovation and expertise. Co-op's team of experts is trusted, reliable and accessible. Team Members have the education and in-field experience to provide local insights. They can also advise on best management practices and effective on-farm strategies for today and into the future as agriculural pracitces continue to evolve. Today, local co-ops provide products and services to 1.9 million members and other customers in more than 580 communities.
