Air Seeder Equipment Demos featuring: Seed Hawk, SeedMaster, Bourgault and New Holland
Nathan Sapach, commercial product manager for the Seed Hawk product line with Vaderstad, describes the features and benefits of the Vaderstad 660 Air Cart with 70 ft spacing Air Drill equipped with the Seed Hawk ICON Control System. This model is ideal for zero and min-till farming systems, delivering exceptionally accurate seed and fertilizer placement in one pass, in all soil conditions, resulting in quick, uniform crop emergence, better quality, and higher yield. Robert Fagnou, marketing specialist with Bourgault Industries demonstrates the Bourgault 9000 series air seeder, discussing features, benefits that set it apart from other options, and changes in the new model compared to the 7000 series. He speaks about separate tanks on the frame; the ability to monitor inputs on the go; sectional controls with eye to eye feature, which allows multiple units to work off the same map; row spacings options; and the largest tow between cart option in the market."
Paul Krahn, marketing manager with New Holland, demonstrates a P2000 Series Air Seeder combining a Flexi-Coil P4580 tow-between air cart and P2082 40-foot disc drill. The P2000 series drill offers models with toolbars in 30 to 60-foot lengths, and air carts with grain tanks ranging in size from 350 to 950 bushels. The series set the standard for reliable air seeding, providing unmatched accuracy in product metering and precision placement. Krahn describes a variety of features of the air drill and air cart, including auxiliary tank fill from ground level option; sectional controls which operators can run manually with standard equipment or automatically with an unlock; and more. The P2000 Series works in all soil types, in conventional, no-till, or min-till systems. Additional benefits described include disc opener design, blockage monitoring system, speed range, curve compensation, cost savings and more.
