AEEP Forum 2026

From Political Commitment to Delivery: Translating Africa–Europe Energy Partnerships into Action

Join the 5th Africa–EU Energy Partnership (AEEP) Forum on 10 November 2026 in Vienna, Austria, as an official side event of ENLIT Europe 2026.

Convened by the Africa–EU Energy Partnership (AEEP), with support from the European Union and Germany, the Forum will feature contributions from the African Union Commission (AUC), the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD) and the African Energy Commission (AfREC).

The Forum will bring together African and European policymakers, energy institutions, regulators, utilities, investors, project developers and technical partners to explore how political commitments can translate into concrete action and investment opportunities.

Discussions will focus on priority energy infrastructure, institutional and regulatory readiness, investment mobilisation and project development. Participants will explore opportunities to strengthen Africa–Europe energy cooperation and advance the implementation of the African Single Electricity Market (AfSEM), the Continental Power System Masterplan (CMP) and the African Energy Efficiency Strategy (AfEES).

Please note: Registration for the AEEP Forum is separate from ENLIT Europe registration. You must already be registered for ENLIT Europe 2026 to attend the Forum. Please ensure you complete both registrations.
