Catherine Page OBE is a Deputy Director in the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology where she leads the development of policy on future telecoms - one of the five critical technologies identified in the Government’s Science and Technology Framework. This includes supporting the ecosystem for UK telecoms companies to grow, the diversification of the 5G supply chain and the transition towards future evolutions of networks. Prior to this Catherine has held a variety of posts in the civil service covering science and innovation policy and international relations. She has worked in the Prime Minister’s office, Cabinet Office, the British Embassy in Ireland and the Department for Business.
